Why do Bad Things Happen to Good People?

Why do Bad Things Happen to Good People?

Q: Why do bad things happen to good people?

A: As we know, the Covenant of God with Man for beholding His Spirit in Trust has been based on complete free will, Man’s choices and actions. The consequences are Man’s responsibility during his lifetime on Earth and in the world.

Other important statements of observation of the Covenant

Everything in this world is Decreed by God in due portion, meaning whatever we do or even think, produces a certain amount of Energy that we bring into the “Common Pot” of our world. As we produce the energy of the world, every time we follow God’s Rule, Admonitions and Way, we charge the share of our Spirit by using It in Its current density, producing Good Energy (of the Spirit) for ourselves and other inhabitants of the world in the Common Pot.

Whenever we choose to follow ways other than God’s, abusing the Energy of the Spirit in straying, we produce negative energy in ourselves and for the others in the Common Pot. Each action thought or word in this life has a consequence in due portion. We are not the only person who acts in this world. We share the actions of the other seven billion inhabitants, every instance, poured into this Common Pot. If we are not Protected by the Good Energy surrounding and protecting us, we become vulnerable to hazardous events in this world. Today, unfortunately, the Common Pot is getting completely full of the bad energy of idol worshipers and wrongdoers. Good people and bad people risk the same danger of hazardous events (8:25).

8:25 “And guard yourselves against an affliction which may not smite those of you exclusively who are unjust and know that All’h (the Ruling of the Administration of the world) Is Severe in requiting.”

In the Judgment of God, at the Judgment Day, good people and bad people do not get the same treatment of course. Nevertheless, the Ruling of the Administration of the world is the same for everyone. God has Warned against leaving ourselves unprotected. The Commandments of the acts and service of Worship of God (upholding the Salat, paying the Zakat, yearly Fasting and once in lifetime, if possible, the Pilgrimage to the center of Energy) are precisely to protect ourselves by the Insurance of the Protection of God against such afflictions and dangerous, hazardous events of the world.
